Customer Reviews:
Dancing with the Stars January 6, 2009 Great game and is better than I expected. The dancing is fun and the contest is an added bonus.
Dancing in your hand! December 26, 2008 This is a handheld version of the popular show and game, and it's simply a traditional rhythm game. Up on the top screen of the DS is a dancing couple. For them to execute the correct move you use your stylus and tap, flick, and swirl stars as they fall on to the second screen where you play. The stars come fast and furious, so it can get busy down there. The only problem is you might not have time to watch the dancing since you'll be paying more attention to your stars that you have to manipulate. You get a practice room and of course the big ballroom. You will compete and get to choose your celeb and pro. The judges will critique you as well. Nice game, but of course the Wii version seems more easy to manipulate. Graphics are fine, although the video game incarnations of the people seem to be rendered basically. Sound cues replicate the show, and it should be a fun diversion for fans of the series.
