Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Do you have what it takes to be a "Five-Star" chef? Hell's Kitchen is a TV phenomenon featuring world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay putting aspiring chefs through rigorous culinary tests. The game recreates the show's pressure-cooker atmosphere as you complete a series of kitchen and dining room challenges. Fulfilling an order requires three important phases - preparation, cooking and service, all of which you must master to progress. Prepare ingredients, cook them to the correct quality and get food out of the kitchen on time. Each complete meal is scored by Chef Gordon Ramsay to make the kitchen boot camp experience come alive.

2 out of 5 stars Love the show, hated the game   December 29, 2008
I'm a huge fan of the show so as soon as the game came out I had to get it. Unfortunately it was a major disappointment. All you do for cooking (on top of being the host, server, and bus your tables) is click on bowls to make them spin and then put them in the pots to have them be ready on time.

If they had you cook actual recipes and forget the other 3 parts it would be a great game!

1 out of 5 stars Disappointing   December 4, 2008
After all of the movement with the other wii games, I thought this was going to be great. What a let down! All you do is click objects while he cusses at you. The graphics in the kitchen and the dinning room are never changing, and he says the same phrases over and over. If I were the perfectionist that Gordon Ramsey is, I would not have put my name on this product!

3 out of 5 stars what you get for the money   November 8, 2008

I was a little bit disappointed with this game. The graphics are good, and it is reminiscent of the t.v show, but the game is really short. I beat the whole game after about 4 total hours of playing, and it isn't exactly one of those games that is interesting enough to keep playing even after you beat it.

1 out of 5 stars True Hell in the Kitchen!!!   October 30, 2008
If you are expected a deep complicated game then you had better look elsewhere.

There is really nothing to this game once you get the basics down, which will take about 5 minutes.

You can breeze through the whole game in a few hours and after that there is really no reason at all to play it again.

I read that Gordon Ramsey personally oversaw the production of the game and I find it hard to beleive he would put his name on this at all.

You want a slightly more challenging cooking game then try Order Up.

2 out of 5 stars Not so good   October 23, 2008
I bought this game and was not very satisfied. Not much to it really. Just clicking things in order. I wish there was more too it like having to advertise your restaurant or decorate it. It's more of a game to rent at the video store than to buy.
