These products may help visualize the game you are playing but they are not the substitute for the actual device. They may be OK for the price but they are not a necessity to enjoy the game.
 Did not meet expectations January 7, 2009
We have a familty who loves to play Wii but was disappointed in some of the sports gear. It is very difficult to use the golf club thus we don't use that one ever. The steering wheel is great fun, especially for the kids as they feel like they are really driving. I could go either way on the tennis racket. Overall, I think the sports gear is really not a necessary accessory to the Wii gaming system.

We had a lot of fun with these accessories that, not only give you the true impression of playing tennis for example, but also make you look a little bit less ridiculous for the ones watching you play in your living room! hihi

(I HAD to rate this in order to post; it doesn't even deserve one star in my book.) I was thrilled to find this item on Amazon.com, and at such a good price, until we opened ot on Christmas morning. The plastic is cheap, the baseball bat wouldn't thread on correctly, and I almost broke the thing trying to get it off! I was afraid to try any other attachments. There is no opening in the wheel for the laser, so it can't be used, and the hole in the wheel for the wrist-strap is too small to fit the strap through. This package is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for". On the up-side, Amazon.com is willing to refund my money, including shipping, and even provided a return shipping labal, all with NO hassle!
