Rent...don't buy! January 7, 2009 My 5 year old finished this game (by herself) in 3 days. Not a great value and she was very disappointed that it was over so fast. That said, it's stunning visually and very engaging. The princesses are perfect; you can't get a better princess fix unless you go to Disney World, which is much more expensive! My recommendation would be to rent the game if you have a child who will be playing the game themselves. If you're going to be playing it over time with a younger child (as in you will be at the controls) then it COULD be worth it to buy it. Just be aware that expectations should be low as to the lenght of the experience.
Perfect for little girls under 6! January 5, 2009 I got this specifically for my 3 year old so she would have her own wii game that she could play with no problems. Its just perfect for her age level. My 7 year old completed the whole game in just a couple hours. I wouldnt suggest this game to anyone older than 5.
Too Much Story...Difficult for my 5 year old January 5, 2009 My 5 year old daughter does enjoy playing this game, but with the Wii remote and the numchuck needed, it becomes a bit difficult to manuever both at the same time. So we had to play this together where Id hold the numchuck and she just waved the magic wand. Well when Im running to get from place to place and all she does is jump and spin, it gets a little nauseating to watch. :-) Overall the game does keep her attention, but there is too much story involved where it does lose her interest a bit. However she asks to play it all the time! I am hoping there is another princess game or game geared towards a little girl out there that is right on the mark. Anyone have any suggestions?
Not too bad January 3, 2009 This game is ok. I think it should be played by 10-15 year old girls. I played it for my toddlers. They were excited to see the princesses but they lost interest after a while because it takes so long. It was mostly very easy for me, but it would be very hard for a child to figure out.
good fun for young girls January 1, 2009 This games is nice for young girls. I have it for the Wii and Playstation. My young daughter enjoys playing it, so that is what counts. I doubt girls over age ten would like this game, so I do not recommend it for them. But it provides fun games for the little ones. It is not easy to find wholesome entertainment but this game provides it.
