 Do Not Buy!! Does not work for DDR @ January 8, 2009
this mat does not work for the ddr2. I think they need to let people know before you buy it!!! my kids were very unhappy when it did not work !!
Read negative reviews before buying! January 8, 2009
I bought DDR 2 with 3 additional dance mats for my family of four so we could all play together. Too bad I didn't read the negative reviews, because now I learn that these mats aren't even compatible with the DDR2. That should be mentioned in the product description. I live outside the US so returning the mats will only cost me more money. Now I know that it's better for a little more money to buy the original.

This mat is not compatible with DDR2. The mat itself seems like it is descent quality, but the fact that the product information never specifed that it did not work with DDR2 was a vast oversite.
Mat does work with adapter January 5, 2009
I purchased this for my daughter and she was disappointed that it did not work out of the box, but after some research, we found that there was an adapter you can get free from pdp.com (link for adapter is at bottom of that site) and we received the adapter (100% free) in 5 days. As of now, everything seems to be working fine.
